Sister to Sister Intergenerational Movement
Summary:
The Sister to Sister Intergenerational Empowerment Movement Initiative seeks to establish a holistic support system for women aged 13 and older who are navigating complex life challenges. These challenges may include divorce, financial hardship due to unemployment, bullying, substance abuse, housing instability, domestic violence-related issues, and the responsibilities of single parenting.
Mission Statement:
This initiative is designed to equip under-resourced women with the tools, knowledge, and support needed to build stability and resilience. Through a comprehensive program model, participants will have access to counseling services, mentorship, employment readiness training, financial literacy education, and parenting support. The parenting component will focus on helping women create safe, nurturing, and healthy home environments for themselves and their families.
